Today, the National Arboretum Canberra announced their new Public Art Commission Drawing Breath, a sculptural work by artist Hannah Quinlivan that is set to be installed in late 2024, another impressive addition to the Arboretum Forest Sculpture Gallery.

The Miniature Bonsai Pot Acquisition is to encourage the appreciation of the art of bonsai pottery and to highlight the beauty and functionality of bonsai pots. The challenge for the 2024 prize is to create a bonsai pot for a Callistemon viminalis Bottlebrush 'Captain Cook'.
