Living collections

The National Arboretum Canberra is one of the world's largest living collections of rare, endangered and significant trees. More than 44,000 trees from over 100 countries are growing in 94 forests (two of which are over 100 years old) across the 250 hectare site.

The spectacular collection includes the Southern Tablelands Ecosystems Park (featuring a traditional bush tucker garden and local native species); a number of themed, landscaped gardens and the renowned National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia.
