Village Centre


Nestled at the heart of the Arboretum is the award-winning Village Centre. With impressive world-class architecture, breathtaking views and friendly informative staff, this is the best place to start your Arboretum experience.  

Step inside and enjoy the art and architecture, join to a free Welcome Walk, discover the Arboretum’s story, have a bite to eat at the Café or treat yourself to something special from The Curatoreum gift shop. The POD playground and National Bonsai and Penjing Collection of Australia are just a short stroll away.

The Ginger Group are very proud to feature locally grown vegetables, fruits, seafood, dairy and organic and biodynamic meats. At the café you can choose a little or a lot – pick up a snack or a ready-to-eat lunch from the servery to enjoy in the Village Centre or why not take it with you and enjoy a picnic in the beautiful surrounds of the Arboretum.

Curatoreum

Known for its unique and quality gifts, The Curatoreum has a wonderful selection of books, children’s activities, homewares and jewellery. There are new treasures to discover with each visit.

Ask the friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you find the perfect gift or special something. And remember to show your members card for a 10% discount at both the National Arboretum and the National Portrait Gallery stores.
