Children will tune into the natural world around them through guided nature journaling in the National Arboretum gardens.

Using drawing, words, and observation, they’ll capture tiny details—from insects to leaves—building curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to everyday nature.

NatureArt Lab believe that when people engage nature through art, it fosters a deep connection and care for nature. Participants have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and immerse themselves in art inspired by nature and the trees of the Arboretum.

Suitable for ages 8 - 10 years.
Carers are asked to stay to supervise their children.
This workshop involves outdoor activities. Please wear enclosed shoes and dress for the weather.
