Immerse yourself in a breathtaking stargazing experience and learn about the vastness of the universe from a passionate local astronomer.

Your 90 minute experience includes:

  • State-of-the-art telescope viewing: you may observe wonders such as the Moon’s craters and seas, Saturn’s rings, Jupiter and its moons, Mars, Venus, the Orion Nebula, star clusters, double & triple stars, and deep space objects such as galaxies. Even shooting stars if you're lucky!
  • Laser-guided naked-eye astronomy: You may see the Milky Way, satellites, the International Space Station.
  • Fascinating constellation storytelling: Explore star signs, antique constellations, their history, and interpretations across cultures.
  • Astronomy binocular viewing.
  • Tips for navigating using the stars.

What to bring:

Bring a camp chair and your curiosity!
Wearing a warm jacket, beanies, scarves and gloves are strongly recommended.
Bring a torch, or well charged phone with a flashlight ability, to light your path.

Nearest toilet facilities are on the Events Terrace near the Village Centre.  You can walk or drive from Dairy Farmers Hill, but please watch your step in the dark.
