Ngala Tours launching soon – A new way to explore the Arboretum
There will soon be a new and easy way to discover the Arboretum. Ngala Tours is offering public onsite bus tours and visitors can join a guided bus tour to see some of the Arboretum’s key feature sites. On the 40 minute Discovery Tour visitors will hear stories of the forests, see sculptures and artworks, discover some of the site’s history and enjoy two viewing stops with spectacular photo opportunities.
This bus is proudly sponsored by the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra and helps visitors wishing to further explore the site and learn more about the Arboretum. The new Discovery Tour invites all paid visitors, and also welcomes time poor visitors such as tourists, families and slightly less mobile visitors.
Ngala means ‘Any tree’ in the local Ngunnawal language. Ngala Tours launches with the Discovery Tour which features the highlights of the Arboretum and will be followed by two more tours currently under development that will take you off the beaten track.
Discovery Tours depart Wednesday – Sunday, and every public holiday at 1.30pm.
