Feedback from participants and their families was overwhelmingly positive, embracing the Arboretum’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion for all of our visitors .

Local food stalls served up festival favourites, including Embrace Disability Group who provide meaningful employment opportunities for individuals living with disabilities, while The Cafe offered barista-made coffee and seasonal meals with stunning views. The Curatoreum’s shop featured a beautiful selection of colourful new kites, helping families take part in the flying festivities and find the perfect keepsake.

Surprise guest Costa Georgiadis shared the bustling excitement of Kite Fest on social media, as he flew his kite and explored the Bonsai Collection, delighting in the combining of his passion for nature and community. His presence added a memorable touch to an already magical day.
