While the weather may not have been on our side, it made for a memorable launch of a new Forest Shelter.
Minister Chris Steel, Special Minister of State, and Trish Keller OAM, Chair of the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra, officially launched the Forest Shelter on the evening of Tuesday 8 March 2022.
Kindly sponsored by the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra, this architecturally designed shelter was carefully positioned to minimise the impact on the natural landscape.
On your next visit to the Arboretum, take a wander along the Dairy Farmers Hill trail and enjoy the peace and tranquillity while overlooking one of the best views of Canberra.
