The Arboretum is seeking sponsorship partners to support the development of new infrastructure that enhances the visitor experience.

Through a co‑funding model, combining sponsor investment with internal funding, we will progress each project once the required commitment level is reached.

This is your opportunity to join us on the journey, where your support will be recognised throughout the construction of a chosen project, building excitement with your audience and ours. To ensure strong visibility and a clear narrative, each project will have one lead sponsor, with some smaller supporting opportunities available where appropriate.

We will work with you to tailor a sponsorship package that meets your marketing and corporate citizenship objectives. Benefits can be scaled to match your level of investment and may include:

Priority Projects Seeking Support

Village Centre Sky Garden

Estimated project cost: $850,000+ noting revised costings will be required before project commencement.

A dramatic Sky Garden and encircling terrace that gives the Village Centre the appearance of floating above the landscape – delivering views across Central Valley to Lake Burley Griffin.


Margaret Whitlam Pavilion Arrival Garden

Estimated project cost: $2 million noting revised costings will be required before project commencement.

A new arrival garden and multipurpose outdoor space, as outlined in the Masterplan. Designed as both a premium backdrop for commercial events and a welcoming recreational space for general visitors.


Pod Playground Access and Extension

Estimated project cost: $2 million noting revised costings will be required before project commencement.

A new arrival garden and multipurpose outdoor space, as outlined in the Masterplan. Designed as both a premium backdrop for commercial events and a welcoming recreational space for general visitors.

Estimated project cost: $3M+ noting revised costings will be required before project commencement.

An expansion of the award‑winning Pod Playground, including additional lawn areas, shade, and new adventure‑based play elements such as climbing nets, ropes and ziplines. Potential integration with the adjacent Mesa Oak Forest will further enhance the experience.
