The 2024 Canberra and Region Heritage Festival is taking place 13-28 April and is themed connections, in line with the 2024 Australian Heritage Festival. Connections highlights the rich and diverse stories of our community, strengthening our cultural and historical ties to the land and to each other. As part of the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival, join us for our Canberra Tails, Arboretum Views guided forest walks.
From the limestone plains to the bush capital, the hills of the Arboretum have seen it all, as well as having their own story to tell. Join us for a forest walk, taking in the views of Canberra and the secrets hidden around. Our friendly guide will share fascinating tales of past and present about the changing landscape of Canberra and the people behind the transformation. Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with the natural beauty and cultural heritage of our beautiful city.

Times: 2pm - 3.30pm
Tickets: Adult: $5, Children (12-16): Free with an accompanying adult ticket
Ages: Suitable for children over 12 years
Details:
- Meet at the Information Desk in the Village Centre.
- The walk will take approximately 90 minutes and cover some uneven surfaces.
- Reasonable fitness and sturdy shoes are required, please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle.
- Bookings close 45 mins before the walk starts, or earlier if capacity is reached.
- If you feel unwell on the day, please stay at home.
