Thank you Canberra – Rainbow party at the National Arboretum

To celebrate marriage equality we’re offering you the chance to Win a Wedding Ceremony Package at the National Arboretum’s iconic Margaret Whitlam Pavilion thanks to Ginger Catering.

This competition is open to anyone who can legally marry so enter now!

To enter simply tell us in 25 words or less why you want to get married at the National Arboretum Canberra. Enter online for your chance to win.

The lucky winner will be announced on Saturday 14 April at a free community party to celebrate marriage equality. Second and third prizes will be gift vouchers for The Curatoreum gift shop. All winners must be at this event between 11:00-11:30am to receive their prizes.

The first place-getter will receive a two hour marriage ceremony package valued at $1,100.00 valid for 12 months thanks to Ginger Catering. The National Arboretum Canberra’s iconic Margaret Whitlam Pavilion is a spectacular architecturally designed venue, with floor to ceiling glass windows and a private balcony with unrivalled and stunning views across Canberra.

Free Rainbow Party details

Canberra community is invited to this free marriage equality celebration not to be missed! It will feature Australia's biggest rainbow painted on the grassy Events Terrace, rainbow kites (bring or buy on site), a live DJ, free face painting, gourmet barbeque, food, drinks and more.

This event is open to everyone so bring your friends and family and even those on four legs (on leashes) and help us fill the sky with rainbow kites or take a selfie with Australia’s largest rainbow painted on grass as your backdrop.
