This one day workshop led by Alison Pouliot PhD, an ecologist and environmental photographer introduces participants to the diversity, ecology and curiosities of the Kingdom Fungi, specific to fungi found in the region, but also within wider Australian and international contexts.
Engage with a hands-on identification session where you will learn to recognise characteristics used to identify fungi in the field.
After lunch we will partake in an exciting foray through various local habitat types to search for species of interest. Supplementary notes will also be provided.
This workshop has been kindly sponsored by The Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra.
