Using the Check In CBR app is easy at the National Arboretum Canberra. If you are from interstate and don’t yet have the app or if your phone has gone flat, our staff can help check you in.
The app has a new function which allows venues around Canberra to check in patrons who are unable to. From 6 March 2021, it will be mandatory under the public health direction for us to collect contact details of anyone aged 16 years and older.

Downloading the app is easy and is available on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
How to download and use the app
- Make sure you have a compatible phone or tablet device and your internet connection is switched on.
- Download the Check In CBR App from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Register your details (required for the first time only).
- At participating venues, open the app, select ‘Check In Now’ and hover your smartphone over the displayed QR code.
- Add in any additional people - those who are with you without their own device or app.
- When the check-in is complete, show venue staff the app successful check in screen.
