Canberra Botanic Artists and an Artist in Residence

See works inspired by the vivid autumn colours and textures of the trees at the National Arboretum. As part of the exhibition, you can also see a botanical artist painting or drawing a work of art.

Botanical Art is a collaboration between art and science, with the aim of capturing the essence of the plant; its form, texture and growth habits, in a two-dimensional medium such as painting and drawing.
