Australian National University

One of the Arboretum's most important roles is to generate new knowledge through research, education and community involvement.
The National Arboretum Canberra is proud to partner with the Australian National University (ANU) on long–term, detailed, peer-reviewed research. Two ANU projects are in progress:

  1. The effects of climate variability, climate change and water use in two different types of eucalypt trees, Corymbia maculata (spotted gum) and Eucalyptus tricarpa (red ironbark).
  2. The precision measurement of trees and forests.
