On Saturday, 12 November 2011, over three thousand people attended the inaugural 'Voices in the Forest' concert, which was held in the natural amphitheatre below the Events Terrace and the proposed Visitors Centre at the National Arboretum Canberra.
All those who attended the concert were given a wonderful opportunity, to not only experience the beauty of the Arbotreum, but to hear the magnificent voices of Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter, Louise Page, Henry Choo, Christina Wilson and a composite choir made up of choirs from ACT schools and colleges were also part of the program.
