Warm Trees 1 - 30 July

Warm Trees is the largest installation of knitting and crochet on trees in the world! This year large cherry blossoms, huge flowers and bright scarves will feature in various forests and in the Village Centre. A stunning exhibition of cherry blossom scenes from around Japan is on display daily in the Village Centre. This exhibition celebrates the cherry blossom which has been a symbolic flower of spring since ancient times, marking a time of renewal and hope. Warm Trees is brought to you by the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra and many crafty volunteers from around Australia. Sponsors this year are The Embassy of Japan,Jocelyn Plovits, Trish Keller OAM, Jenny Cantlon.
