Walk with Wollemis and enjoy craft activities these school holidays

July School Holiday Program

Let's go 'Walking with the Wollemis' these school holidays. Make your own botanical fossil, visit the Wollemi pines and see 165 million-year-old petrified wood. Warm Trees FREE drop-in craft activities

KNITTING: 1-16 July 10am to 2pm for all ages. No need to book.

ORIGAMI: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 July, 11am to 12 noon for 7-12 year olds. Bookings essential.

Join the Friends of the Arboretum and learn how to knit or paper-fold a cherry blossom to contribute to this year's Warm Trees. Drop in knitting sessions for all ages will be held every day of the school holidays between 10:00am - 2:00pm. All materials provided. Parents/adults must supervise children. No need to book.

Learn the art of Japanese origami and make a flower that you can take home or add to the strings of decorative flowers in the Village Centre. Suitable for 7 - 12 year olds. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 July, 11:00am - 12noon. Free. Bookings essential on 02 6207 8484 or email:
