Plenty of fun in the April School Holidays

Book in to a Mushrooms and Minibeasts Family Walk, make your own Bonsai, or play at Pod Playground these School Holidays.
With an experienced guide, your family will explore the Himalayan cedar forest for small animals and fungi and enjoy a craft activity.

For 5 to 7 year olds. 18 to 21 April at 10:30 to 12:00, $12 for one child and $10 each for two or more children. Adults are free.

Make your own Bonsai for ages 8 to 16. Children get to pot, style and take home their very own bonsai tree. 10 to 13 April at 10:30 to 12:00, $33.50.

Autumn School Family Walk - Mushrooms and Minibeasts

Autumn is the perfect time to explore the Himalayan cedar forest for small animals and fungi. Meet your experienced guide at the Himalayan Cedar car park for this nature walk through the forest and beyond. A craft activity is included. Make your own Bonsai

Participants learn some of the basic techniques for potting, styling and caring for your very own bonsai. Participants take their creations home with them on the day. Be inspired by the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection. For 8 - 16 year olds. 10 to 13 April at 10:30 to 12:00, $33.50 per participant.
