The National Arboretum Canberra offers a range of visitor experiences, including self-guided walking tours, free guided walking tours, school group tours and activities as well as guided bus tours (fee applies, visitor supplied bus). Tours for all ages and abilities are available, whether on your own or in a group. Bookings are recommended for free guided tours; bookings are required for paid tours.

There is a free map of self-guided walking trails available. Visitors may hire a sound pen for $10 ($8 for Members and Friends) at the Village Shop.
Free guided walks leave regularly from the Village Centre. Maximum 16 people.
