100 Forests 100 Gardens Design Concept

Winning design by Taylor Cullity Lethlean Landscape Architects with Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects

In May 2005 Taylor Cullity Lethlean Landscape Architects, with Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects, were selected as the winner of the Design Ideas Competition for the National Arboretum Canberra.  Their design, 100 Forests 100 Gardens, featured a variety of forests and gardens planted across the arboretum site, made up of Australian natives and various types of rare and endangered trees from around the world.

The initial concept images provide a detailed and stunning proposal for the arboretum project and what it can become.
